Manchester United are still on top of the league table as they were able to beat Chelsea on 18 September, 2011 in a 3-1 encounter at Old Trafford. Former Liverpool forward Fernando Torres was able to score for Chelsea but goals from Nani, Wayne Rooney and Chris Smalling were enough to down the Blues. Manchester United controlled the whole game and it was pro soccer star Nani who shot one of the best long range shots to cause his opponents to suffer.

Currently, Man Utd have 15 points from playing 5 games and are far away from the relegation zone unlike Arsenal Football Club who have had some bad spells since the start of this season 2011-2012.
