EPL Teams Aston Villa, Fulham and Arsenal Draw

September 26, 2010

Today, strong English Premier League teams Aston Villa F.C., Fulham F.C. and Arsenal F.C. were able to draw against Bolton Wanderers F.C., Blackburn Rovers F.C. and Sunderland A.F.C. respectively. The three teams had played the matches while expecting to take three points from their opponents but they failed to finish the job. The EPL is becoming fully alive as the season expands and giants like Arsenal F.C., Liverpool F.C., Chelsea F.C. and Manchester United are all contenders which can win the title next year if their players play maximum soccer for months. A review about the matches which were played by Aston Villa, Fulham and the Gunnners are as follows:

Aston Villa F.C. Played a Home Game Against Bolton Wanderers But They Failed to Win It
The Villans were expected to beat Bolton Wanderers by at least a goal but they failed to handle their business at Villa Park Stadium when the away team played defensively well. Offensive Aston Villa player Ashley Young was able to score a goal for his team during the 13th minute of the game to help Corals or Ladbrokes bettors who had wagered on the home side to kill off Bolton Wanderers but Kevin Davies equalized to cause the match to end in a draw amidst the 35th minute. The two goals of the game emerged in its first-half and caused the scoreline to stay at 1-1. The result of the match put the home side on the 8th spot of the league table but Bolton Wanderers had to settle for the 15th position.

Fulham Did Not Receive the Best Ranking Position by Drawing Against Blackburn Rovers
Undoubtedly, the Whites could have taken the current position of Manchester United by winning their game against Blackburn Rovers F.C. but they were held to a draw. Blackburn Rovers central defender Christopher Samba’s header was enough to down Fulham F.C. during the 30th minute of the match but popular American midfielder Clint Dempsey flew towards goalkeeper Paul Robinson and scored a goal for his team after left fullback Carlos Salcido delivered a brilliant cross to him from outside the penalty box in the 56th minute. The scoreline for the match was 1-1 after referee Anthony Taylor ended it.

Arsenal F.C. Were Expected by Their Fans to Win Against Sunderland But They Were Unlucky
Arsenal F.C. have taken the 2nd spot of the league table of the EPL this season 2010-11 after failing to beat Sunderland A.F.C. at Stadium of Light. Efficient Sunderland striker Darren Bent scored a goal for the The Black Cats in the 90th minute of the match after Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas had caused them to trail by a goal for over 80 minutes. The match ended in a 1-1 draw because of the equalizer from the Sunderland forward. Currently, Sunderland are a 10th-ranked team in the EPL. Bad teams like West Ham United, Wigan Athletic and Everton F.C. will possibly fight relegation battles this season 2010-11 as the EPL table shows them to be holding the last three positions. Of course, the EPL standings will encounter changes if Manchester United lose against Liverpool F.C. at Old Trafford tomorrow and point spread or moneyline bets on the home side to get a win produce losses.
